Perception vs Reality - The Selling of Medford

Medford Works!, in partnership with Medford Arts Center and the Township Economic Development Commission, is pleased to announce an evening conference entitled Perception vs. Reality: The Selling of Medford to be held Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Medford Arts Center on Main Street. This conference was developed as an outcome of the Medford Works! Action Summit held last month. The featured speaker will be Lynn Pechinski, President of 1st Straw Marketing and Promotions. Ms. Pechinski, a resident and business owner, will lead participants through an interactive presentation that will explore perceptions of Medford and how we might effectively spread the good word about Medford through branding and marketing strategies. Ms. Pechinski is a sought after speaker and trainer and will certainly provide an informative and entertaining presentation. Roundtables will follow her presentation with a goal to gathering thoughts that might be summarized and presented to Township leadership. Sign-in begins at 6:30 p.m. with light refreshments being served. This free conference is open to the public but pre-registration is required since space is limited to 50 participants. We are a great group of women of all ages (18-100) who gather together in friendship and service to our community. We welcome you to attend one of our monthly meetings.
